For nearly two decades, Tim has worked to reduce
negative social and environmental impacts of some
of the most iconic and recognizable sports teams,
venues, events, and brands in the world.

In his prior work with Honeycomb Strategies, Tim co-
founded the Sustainable Sport index, the sports
industry’s first benchmark of sustainability, and
advised on strategies for venues such as SoFi
Stadium and Hollywood Park, which was the second
NFL stadium to achieve ISO 20121:2012 Event
Sustainability Management System certification.
Tim was the head of sustainability for the 225-acre
campus that includes Mercedes-Benz Stadium,
Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia World
Congress Center, the former Georgia Dome, and the
Savannah Convention Center, where he convened
sustainability task forces, oversaw sustainability in
daily operations, and facilitated the LEED
certification of three campus buildings.
He is past adjunct faculty at Georgia State University
and Arizona State University and has held leadership
roles in several industry associations including
USGBC and IAVM. He resides in Atlanta.
