Originally from North Carolina, Jane was a 7th generation resident in a tight-knit community where reverence for the land was a valued attribute. In 1987, Jane and her family moved to Sarasota, Florida where they settled on ten acres where she nurtured the land and soil with native plants and regenerative landscaping practices.

Since 1988, Jane served in a leadership role with Landmark Worldwide and spearheaded global educational courses. Fellow Landmark leadership professionals were partners in the creation of the first annual HUMANITY DAY on October 28, 2023. A primary focus is building a collective consciousness where humans respect, nurture, and regenerate abused lands, waterways, and the overall environment.

In 2017, Jane formed The Jane Family Foundation with a mission to contribute to small non-profits who make a difference in the community. The Foundation supported the HUMANITY DAY event via a nice contribution

Over the decades, Jane used her professional acumen to spearhead a variety of initiatives focused on respect for the land creating a balance where land economics is balanced with environmental stewardship.
In personal time, Jane is an avid gardener, yoga practitioner, and doting grandmother to her three grandchildren who live nearby with her two daughters.
